FB-2 Balance Valve

The FB-2 balance valve, also known as a fixed valve, prevents fluid above it from flowing downward while allowing fluid below it to flow upward. It can be used as a pressure‑testing ball seat. When installed in the corresponding F‑type seating connector, it features no locking mechanism; instead, it is secured by the pressure acting on its upper side. Prior to retrieval, use a retrieval tool to apply an upward impact, shearing the shear pin and equalizing the pressures above and below. Deployment tool: C‑1 type well‑entry tool; Retrieval tool: SB well‑entry/retrieval tool.
