T-2 Type Release Connector
The T‑2 release coupling can be connected to packers that do not require mechanical tension or mechanical pressure for setting. The mandrel insert may feature locking grooves and a smooth sealing bore, allowing a wire plug to seat and completely isolate the string below. The coupling can be configured as left‑hand or right‑hand threaded and equipped with a wear shoe, which facilitates easy passage through downhole debris during retrieval and ensures secure, reliable reconnection.
